The answer to more leg room and comfort on floorboard equipped H-D Models. Levers move the location of the brake pedal pad while flattening the angle of the pad making it much more comfortable to operate. The amount of extension varies depending on the application, but the result is that your foot is no longer “under” the brake pedal, which is a safety issue, and makes braking easier and more natural.

+1" version of the Kuraykyn brake pedal designed for Harley's without lower fairings WILL NOT WORK on Harley's with the older or newer style lower fairings. The lower fairing impedes the brake pedal. You'll need to select the brake pedal model that says "with lower fairings". They are shorter pedals, yet flatter, and are made to fit with those old style lower fairings.
Further info: If you have the new redesigned lower fairings as seen on 24 and newer models like the Street Glide Ultra and want a +1" extended pedal you can use the SOFTBRAKE extended brake pedal and it fits fine. The Kuryakyn +1" extended pedal will not fit with the new redesigned fairings as it's designed slightly different.

Forward extension for foot floor board room.now my foot doesn't get hung up in the stock brake pedalharley should have dressed this long ago for safty.
Love this product. Should have done it years ago. Makes riding a lot safer as you don't have to lift your foot up as much as the stock pedal. Definitely a must have.
Great product, Easy to install and definitely feels more natural as a rear brake pedal then the stock one ever did. The stock pedal felt like you were stepping on a car brake pedal, wrong angle. A must upgrade for your bike
I definitely prefer the position of this pedal over stock. It only took one ride to get comfortable with the difference. Only thing that l would consider a negative would be that it takes a slight more effort to stop the bike compared to the stock position. But once you adjust to the feel of it. I definitely recommend this upgrade!
I was disappointed. I trader one problem for another. The brake lever is a little short. Now I continue to kick it with my foot. There is room for the lever to be a little longer.
