I bought the Khrome Werks HP45 slip-ons first, not realizing how loud they would be. And by loud, I mean a full bass sound that people fill inside their homes, and not a choppy “braap” when you’re on the throttle. I bought “the plug” inserts first. They did quiet it down, but rolling on the throttle would not produce the “braap” I wanted. I was frustrated with this purchase, but decided I’d give the Performance Baffles a try. I’d say they’re almost perfect. Most of the bass sound is gone, and they give me the “braap” I wanted when I roll on the throttle.

Retains the bottom end torque along with making long days in a saddle not not so tough on your ears.
Awesome product! For me on my'26 Road Glide Limited, the stock Khrome Werks 4.5" slip-ons were just a bit loud and didn't fit the character of the bike, nor was I after such a loud machine. They were so loud going down the highway, even with helmet headsets, it was difficult to have a conversation with my passenger. I tried these inserts, and it put the sound exactly where I was hoping - mellow, rumble like a Harley should be. Highly recommend!

These inserts restore that dip in torque in lower rpms, a fair trade for a slight dampening of the sound.
