I’m glad I chose this mount over the others. Holds the cell phone in place and doesn’t need a special phone case to use. Well worth the money and would recommend it for the BMW R1300 GSA riders. I just wish the holding bar was an inch higher to help clear the tank bag for left hand turns. Thus the reasons for 4 star ⭐️.
I followed the video instructions and had the mount secured in about 10 minutes. I did take the phone protector off my Motorola Stylus phone as it seemed to be a little too wide to be secure. I will maybe try it with the phone protector back on after I see how it does at highway speeds. I wish that you had the option of black screws when ordering, I did order them after I received the kit.
I had a LAB phone gripper on my ‘21 Street Glide Special and made the mistake of not taking it off when I sold it. I bought a ‘23 Road Glide CVO and made the mistake of spending nearly $100 for a HD phone holder! After a few months of having to switch phone cases when I was riding because I had to have an attachment on the back of my phone to o make it work, I ordered another LAB PHONE GRIPPER!!! It works so much better and easier because I can swivel the phone when it’s in there gripper, unlike the HD holder that is not adjustable.
I took it for a test, went on ride took it no some roads that are bumpy and have pot hole, Hold tight no issues, and easy to install.
