I purchased a 2023 CVO Street Glide and my phone mount that mounted on the controls screws did not work with the new control pods without partially covering some of the buttons. The Gripper mounts just off the controls and I have full use of the buttons. The Gripper holds my IPhone 14 Pro very securely and allows me to view it when riding. As a diabetic, it is important that I see my phone for monitoring my blood sugar levels as I am prone to sudden drops in blood sugar levels. This is a very good product that I highly recommend.
Very happy with my phone holder.. Great craftsmanship and extremely sturdy.. Also, less costly than other more complex holders. Glad I came across video on YouTube!
A little on the pricey side. But it works well. Good with
vibration if wanting to record from your phone.
So far I’m super impressed with the Biker Gripper. I needed a good mount and I’m so glad I found your video on the web.
I have two bikes, one with 1" bars and the other with brand new 1 1/4" bars. I had hoped to be able to use this on both bikes, so I bought the smaller version. There are plastic spacers included so this clamp fits 1" bars, which is great But if you want to mount the smaller clamp on its max 1 1/4" bar, you have to mount it metal to metal. I tried just putting a single layer of electrical tape on my bars but the clamp will not fit over tape.
One other problem I ran into was that my bars are just a little thicker next to the weld by my controls. I really wanted to mount this flush with the control but it has to be 1/4 inch away. That's not a deal breaker for me but having to go metal to metal on brand new bars or buying a second clamp that's the larger size to use on one bike so it has a plastic spacer between the clamp and bar was a deal breaker for me.
I contacted them and they emailed a return label to me in a few minutes, no hassle.
