F4 Custom's motorcycle windshields are designed with two things in mind: quality and experience. Each F4 Customs windscreen is constructed from the highest optical grade polycarbonate they could find. Then it is formed and coated with a proprietary hard coating that protects the windshield from scratches. The proprietary coating is also designed to shed rain and clean easy. F4 Customs motorcycle windshields also come in varying height and style options, so you get the riding experience you want, whether that ride is a short-day trip or a 10,000-mile journey. Every F4 Customs motorcycle windshield is designed to perform and last, wherever the road takes you.

This windshield is made with a recurve or flip at the top of the windshield. This flip allows for 2” of added airlift allowing you to maximize wind protection.

Clear: We recommend the clear option if you do a lot of night riding, or you prefer the visibility a clear windshield provides.

Light Tint: The light tint option is 15% tinted, so you can still look through it during night rides. The tint also acts like a pair of sunglasses during the day and reduces headlight glare at night.

Dark Tint: The dark tint option gives your motorcycle a sleek look. The dark tint option is NOT transparent, especially at night. For this reason, the dark tint option is not available in 12” and 15”.

Way better than OEM, but...

Bought the 10" after measuring as recommended. OEM was also 10". OEM had wind buffeting at top of my ears. F4 buffets at top of my head now. On gusty or windy days, at speeds under 55, the F4 catches the air and is a bit wiggly in the steeering because of it. The OEM does not do this. However, it speeds over 55 and up to well over maximum highway speeds, it's quiet. The wind does not increase with speed, nor is there any appreciable sound increase.

The biggest complaint I have is the contour of the shield where it mounts is not correct. It's not curved enough. It therefore pushes the outer fairing away from the inner fairing, and puts a lot of tension on the mounting bolts, that according to LAB's video can strip easily.

It's a nice windshield that is very stout and clear as glass.

If they only had a 11"

I'm 6"4' and have a 2015 CVO Limited. The factory 10" is a little to short and the 12" I ordered is a little to tall. I love the windshield works great at all speeds and easy to see through. Great product. I have already recommend it to my friends.

Greetings from Michigan . I have a 2019 limited CVO that had the Harley windshield . Probably a good windshield if you ride flat roads with very few curves
But not worth a damn if you want to ride roads in the Black Hills or any other place that has hills and curves . I put this F4 on bike (no problem at all installing) and I am pumped . Great view threw shield NO deforming of road strips or road edge like the Harley shield gave me . This year is my 14th year going to Sturgis (rode to and from 12 times ) and I do love the Black Hills .This F4 windshield will help make for a much better ride . I ordered the 8 inch clear . Man I love this shield .
I as well as other riders ordered this shield based on the review Ryan did, and on the way the shield is cleaned .

F4 delivers as promissed

I ordered this based on Ryan's review of the product as well as some other company videos I found on line. Went with the 10" model. I've had this installed now for about a week and put some miles on it over the weekend. For me at 5'10" on a Harley Hammock, I'd say the shield is most effective between 30-40 MPH. Above that, buffeting increases but it may have been because of the stinking 30 MPH crosswind I was dealing with. My wife mentioned she could tell the difference as well. As mentioned, distortion is minimal, only some at the curve, side to side is good. The medium tint is PERFECT!
