The internet is loaded with extensive praise for the Wilbur’s Nivomat suspension on touring Harley models. So I spent the money and got the expensive set up for my 2025 Street Glide. Considering the cost my expectations were equally high. The conclusion after installation and riding, these do produce a better riding experience. However, the change is just not the life altering magic event that most of the reviews seem to promise. If these were similar in cost to most of the competitors I would be happier but for the money I cannot help but wonder if the other brands would produce a similar improvement in ride quality at half the cost. The self leveling for load changes may justify the cost for those that frequently change weight configuration, but admittedly I am more focused on ride comfort.
I initially installed the rear shocks and rode for a few days before installing the front fork springs/oil. The springs and oil do indeed improve the ride so I do recommend if you buy the shocks you should plan to do the forks as well.
Ordering from LAB was very easy, they processed the order and send the information to EPM Performance (the US importer) who prep the shocks to your specifications and then drop ship direct to you. Installation is easy enough and for me the preconfigured spring preload gave me the exact sag measurement recommended.
