Purchase the item which stated in Fitment for Harley Davidsons. Installed it on my 2005 Fatboy and realized with would not work because it hits the aluminum primary case. It is a quality product, but the fitment is misleading.
Thread lock and use a self locking nut so it doesn’t come loose. Would give it 5 star otherwise.
Probably one of the best investments you can have for a bike that has a questionable kickstand.
