Head Unit Only-No Mount Included
The Biker Gripper head unit is injection molded using Dupont Delrin Acetel resin thermoplastic and your electronic device is held securely in place with polyurethane fabric to prevent scratching and four stainless steel springs with an 18 pound grip. The Biker Gripper is the most secure device ever developed to mount your cell phone or other devices to your motorcycle.
The grip range of the Biker Gripper head is 1.9” to 4.2”. The Biker Gripper head fits even the largest of smartphones!
Vibration Dampening:
The Biker Gripper motorcycle cell phone mount is produced and sold by a company of actual motorcyclists (bikers) and it was designed from the ground up for a motorcycle environment. That's why it has no vibration issues and does not damage smartphone cameras internally.
The reason the Biker Gripper does not have vibration issues is that the gripper arms on the head move independently to absorb shaking and vibration. And, the rubber pad in the base with our logo on it actually provides grip and isolation from high-frequency vibration. Our logo, however badass it is, is a functional component of the gripper head. Also, the ball head system on the Biker Gripper has some give, unlike the rigid mounting system of other cell phone holders.
Smartphones, Small Digital Cameras, GoPro (Action) Cameras, Radar Detectors, Garage Door Openers, GPS Units, Toll Transponders.

The phone holder works great. I have put on a few thousand miles with this grip and it works fantastic. It takes a couple rides to get the tension correct for proper movement. I would recommend only one change that is to make the plastic nut from a higher grade of material to keep it from cracking. The nut split just by tightening by hand.
I tightened my first one too much and it started to flop. Therefore ordered replacement head which works fine and I tightened not so much.
I have used the Biker Gripper from the LAB crew for years and this device is with out a doubt the best phone mount for your motorcycle that you can buy. I even have on my window mount set up in my big rig truck. Install the mount (perch mount or handlebar) I have both, and clip the phone in the super tight jaws and forget it. Your phone will never fall out. Love it. Thanks LAB for all your great products and all your help you guys be us out here.

I gave a good initial review on this gripper, but that was before I used it on a 1200 mile trip. While on a freeway near Oakland, I saw the gripper with my phone in it start to loosen. I pulled over and finger tightened it, but the nut reached the end and would not tighten any more. I took the phone out of the gripper and put it in my pocket. I contacted LAB and was told that they would send me a new nut. This new nut stripped half way down the threads. Thinking that the threads were bad, I put back on the old nut and it screwed on just fine but would still not tighten. I contacted LAB again and was sent a new gripper, ball and nut. This new combo worked much better. The nut tightens half way down the threads and it seems to be much more secure. Very happy with LAB staff in their response to my issue.
I have had this type of phone holder for years put 70k miles on with no issues. I recently bought a new one from Amazon and the head won’t stay tight on the ball. So I decided to try a law abiding biker head on the ball and the same thing it’s just super sloppy. I guess maybe I’ll have to be the post also maybe it’s just a bad ball
Peter, you may need a new wingnut. If you haven't already contacted us please do so and we can send you one.
