This black special edition of the OptiMate 5 Start-Stop V2 delivers 4 Amps of charging power to recover, charge and then maintain the larger 12V AGM and flooded lead-acid batteries used in touring and cruiser motorcycles, as well as cars, pickups and boats.
Its 7-step program saves a deeply discharged, sulphated battery from as low as 0.5V with low-volt pulse recovery, charges it, tests its state of health and then switches to an advanced maintenance program that keeps the battery 100% ready while supporting always-on circuitry.
