The quick release chin strap is just what I needed for my half helmet. It was easy to install, is well built, and is very comfortable. I lost the rubber "boot" that goes over the opposite end of the buckle. It fell off at some point while taking the helmet off. I believe that was user error and I don't believe the "boot" is that important. I bought two more for my other helmets. I highly recommend.

I installed the quick release so that it works and fits ok, but I have some pinching. I'm not confident I installed it correctly.

I originally had a different after market chin strap on my helmet. It did make a good option for a quick release, and it wasn’t bulky at all, but was sometimes cumbersome to connect, was annoying. This one right here is fantastic, easy to engage, and disengage. Easy to install. And very strong product. I’m very happy with it.
