Kuryakyn "Girder" Extended Brake Pedal For Harley Touring Models 2014 To Present

brake accessory

Description:

The answer to more leg room and comfort on floorboard equipped H-D Models. Levers move the location of the brake pedal pad while flattening the angle of the pad making it much more comfortable to operate. The amount of extension varies depending on the application, but the result is that your foot is no longer “under” the brake pedal, which is a safety issue, and makes braking easier and more natural.

Features:

  • Bronze bushing with grease fitting for smooth operation and long life
  • Installs using stock hardware and pedal

Bikes With Lower Fairings (See fitment tab for specific information if you have lower fairings on your Harley)

Contact Us if you're not sure what model to order

Options:

Available in chrome/black and for bikes without OEM lower farings.

Options:

  • Choose from chrome or black and for bikes with or without lower fairings before adding to the cart.

Fitment:

  • 2014 to Present Harley-Davidson Touring Models

Further Fitment (Lower Fairings)

+1" version of the Kuraykyn brake  pedal designed for Harley's without lower fairings WILL NOT WORK on Harley's with the older or newer style lower fairings.  The lower fairing impedes the brake pedal. You'll need to select the brake pedal model that says "with lower fairings". They are shorter pedals, yet flatter, and are made to fit with those old style lower fairings.

Further info: If you have the new redesigned lower fairings as seen on 24 and newer models like the Street Glide Ultra and want a +1" extended pedal you can use the SOFTBRAKE extended brake pedal and it fits fine. The Kuryakyn +1" extended pedal will not fit with the new redesigned fairings as it's designed slightly different.

CVO Info:

+1" versions

  • 14-17 CVO models have larger brake pedal pads.  You may need to use a smaller brake pedal pad to avoid interference with the lower fairing.

I didn’t know I needed this so much till I rode with it the first time after installed

I didn’t know I needed this so much till I rode with it the first time after installed. The position is perfect. I’m 6’2” and have the extended road sofa saddle.

Great rear brake arm

Great rear brake arm, extends out so foot isn't under like the factory one. Not too bad to install, just remember to remove bolts to crash bars. Watch the video before attempting to install.

Much better than stock

I’m only 5’7 and the stock pedal was uncomfortable to use. I love how much further up the pedal is. I can actually feel comfortable using the whole floor board without my foot being under the brake. Great quality! I would buy again!
