The buckle works fine just as other quick release buckles have. I wish I would have looked closer at the shipping cost which were half of what the buckle cost. It wasn’t that heavy and sure shouldn’t have cost over $8 to send it to Alabama.
This is the greatest invention since sliced bread. Don't throw your current, useful helmet out and buy a pricey new helmet when this will readily convert that annoying chin strap. AND you can put your gloves on while fastening this!!! Its great!
Buckle dose not work with the sedici strada 2 carbon and assuming aswell with other helmets that have the same style straps. This product doesn’t work because of the sleeve over the strap, yes you can push the sleve back a tad but for me i find the straps not sitting where i’d like and feel as if the helmet is a bit loose with it installed. Very simple and easy install process, product feels quality, unfortunately just wouldnt work for my specific helmet.

Adds a fantastic feature to any helmet...adds some functional length to the strap too.
Once you have this type of strap on one helmet, you really do want it on them all...and now you can...easy to fit, doesn't break the bank, and works perfectly.
I absolutely love this product. It was the one part of my helmet that I did not like. The install was very simple. I actually had to watch the video twice because I installed it so quickly to make sure I didn’t miss any steps. Seems to be a high-quality product. I love the metal to metal fit, feels very secure.
