So I decided to replace the original clutch slave cylinder with the A.I.M Light Force V3 slave cylinder... after a few rides all I can say is... WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The clutch lever is easy to pull with ONE FINGER now... and the clutch engages almost immediately as opposed to moderate dead zone before engaging with the stock cylinder. No more clutch hand fatigue.
DEFINITELY an upgrade I would recommend! When bleeding the clutch it was kinda deceiving because the clutch was so easy to pull, one would think there was still air in the line! LOL
This is a great product. I finally replaced my stock slave cylinder last weekend. What a difference. I would highly recommend. Alot lighter clutch pull and I can find neutral easier. Nice upgrade for a reasonable price.
I don't usually do reviews. I figure if the product meets my expectations based on vendor provided information, 'nuff said. BUT, this one is exceptional. My mechanic and a riding buddy helped with the installation and after they bled the line, they were blown away by light force required. First they though the bleed valve was open but not so. Then they wanted to know where I got it and how much. They wanted one right now. I am also totally blown away. Works just as described by Law Abiding Biker. AND, the dreaded "can't find neutral" on my 2019 RG Special is gone! And, it works like a real hydraulic clutch should (Like my 2005 Gold Wing)
This works exactly as advertised. Clutch engages in a much better position closer to the grip and the pull is much easier . Makes the bikes nicer to ride. The only draw back is for the 2014 - 2016 bikes, is the fitting adapter on the slave cylinder for the brake line. It pushes the brake line further out and you have to bend the metal end to make it fit, and even at that it's not a great fit, but does work.
