No outlet where you park? The Battery Tender 5 Watt Solar charger keeps your motorcycle's battery topped off with nothing but sunlight. Clamp it to the handlebars or a frame rail with the included mount, or stick it inside a car or truck windshield with the suction cups, plug it in, and let the sun do the work.
It is built for powersports-size batteries and has smart charge control built in: it delivers full current while the battery needs it, then switches to float to hold the battery at the right voltage without overcharging. It works with lead-acid (flooded, AGM, gel) and lithium (LiFePO4) batteries.
Connect it with the included ring terminal harness, or on cars and trucks plug the included OBD II cable into the diagnostic port under the dash so you never have to open the hood. A 5 watt panel is a maintainer: it is made to keep a healthy battery charged, not to quickly recharge a dead one, and it only charges in sunlight.
