I was initially worried that the Butt Buffer would feel like I was sitting on a cushion. No worries, it feels like a part of the seat. That is to say, I don't notice that it's even there. Plenty comfortable so far. My first long ride has yet to happen but I seriously doubt it'll change my mind. $$ well spent.
Put over 1000 miles on the cushion and it performed better than I expected! 11 hours in the saddle and no pain or discomfort.
I am concerned about the cover for the cushion which is showing "pulls" in areas of the fabric. Otherwise, a great product.
