This is my 2nd one. The first one version 1, I killed & cooked it into an "Alien Amorphous BLOB on a hot Australian Day riding. This new pebble polymer insert is great, and I can ride all day, (500-800km) or more & not have to stand on the pegs at any point. The pebble effect is brilliant & encourages to pad not to double up and stick to itself! I'm not a small lad, & I ride a K1600GTL , & with the ButtBuffer it's like a recliner rocking chair down the motorway! Am very happy with it , as I'm shortly going on a "little" around Australia ride of approximately 25-28,000km ! The ButtBuffer I am sure will be an important piece of my gear. While not cheap to us over the pond here, (about $300.00 Australian by the time it lands here), I believe it is well worth the investment!
A quick ride of 180 miles to Centennial Wy on July 4th and was very impressed with how the Butt Buffer felt.
I was a little apprehensive about buying a Butt Buffer at first as have a Corbin seat and have ridden over 75,000 miles in the last six years with few problems. I have to admit that on longer rides it really makes a difference. Great quality and definitely worth the money.
So far im pleased with the butt buffer. Planning s week trip soon.
Took a long time to get the item, and personally I think it;s a bit over-priced. Haven't tried it yet. Came too late for my trip, but "oh well!"
Not sure what hospital grade means. I guess it's a selling point. Got one for my son. We'll see what he has to say. Thanks!
