Like all Yuasa AGM batteries, the YTX20HL-BS uses Absorbed Glass Mat separators to fully absorb the acid into the plates, so there's no water to add and no maintenance to keep up with. The advanced lead-calcium alloy holds its specific gravity more than 3 times longer than conventional lead antimony batteries, so it can sit through the off-season with far less attention.
