The basic product is of good construction and finish. It was stated that this shift linkage was for DYNA bike with FORWARD CONTROLS. It CAN fit, but it is at best, beyond the limits of the threaded section. This means there are VERY few threads holding the heim joint in the linkage shaft. It has now become a failure point. The shaft for the heim joints to screw into, FOR THE DYNA WITH FACTORY FORWARD CONTROLS, does NOT fit properly. Even if you alter the pedal height, the stick-out of the heim joints is too much and will fail due to lack of thread engagement. The body of the link shaft is 12". For a Factory Forward Control DYNA, the link shaft length SHOULD be closer to 13.5". It is a beautiful shift linkage for any bike but a forward control Dyna.
