Top Gun Rear Shock Spring for Kawasaki KLR 650-(1987-2018)(2022 +)

Suspension

The Top Gun Rear shock springs are heavier and allow for added weight from a passenger or luggage and are made with the highest quality materials for accuracy and consistency. A properly sized (weighted) spring can put you at the correct ride height for adequate suspension travel.

The stock KLR650 shock spring is too light and not designed to carry luggage. Refer to the weight chart to find the correct spring weight for you and your riding.

  • Replaces the stock light shock spring so the KLR can support heavier loads (luggage for example).
  • Made with the highest quality materials for accuracy and consistency.
  • 3 spring rates are available to better suit each rider refer to the weight chart when deciding what spring is best for you.
  • Made in the USA

I had to lower my klr due to me being short. After that, I kept sending the rear tire into the fender on every little bump. This spring has definitely made a difference and stiffened up the rear preventing me from rubbing even after hitting a bump at 50mph. I'd highly recommend these springs if you're a heavier set person.

I’m a big dude. Bought this KLR as a winter beater. Wont ride my Street Glide or Vmax in winter salty weather. The Top Gun spring rated for MY weight totally changed the performance of the bike. No more bottoming out. Excellent on and off road. I can push way harder and stay in control. Thanks LAB.

A must upgrade on the KLR 650

Stock Rear shock Spring was shot on my 2011 KLR . The top Gun Rear Shock Spring was much better with a loaded up bike. The weighted scale was on pint. Easy install, with the Tusk shock Spring Compressor.
