It's small enough to ride along in a saddlebag, tank bag or tool roll, so a weak or dead battery doesn't leave you waiting on a tow or flagging down a stranger with jumper cables.
The Mini Boost was built for powersports engines. It delivers 1000 amps of peak current, jump starts gasoline engines up to 3.0 liters of displacement, and gives you up to 10 boosts on a single charge.
What does 3.0 liters cover? Engine size is measured by displacement, and 3.0 liters equals 3,000 cc, or about 183 cubic inches. That's more than any motorcycle you're likely to ride. Harley-Davidson's Milwaukee-Eight 117 is about 1.9 liters, Indian's PowerPlus 112 is about 1.8 liters, and even the Triumph Rocket 3, the biggest production motorcycle engine made, is about 2.5 liters. Every ATV, side-by-side, snowmobile, dirt bike and personal watercraft is well within range too. It will also start most four-cylinder cars and small SUVs and some smaller V6s, so it can help out the car in your garage as well. It is not designed for V8 trucks or diesel engines of any size.
Most compact boosters won't send power to a completely drained battery because their safety circuit can't detect it. The Mini Boost has a manual override, so even a fully dead battery can still get a jump. A full suite of safety protections guards against hooking the clamps up backwards, short circuits, overheating and more, so it's safe to use on the side of the road.
It also doubles as a USB power bank for your phone, GPS or radio, and its three-mode LED flashlight helps when your battery dies after dark. Everything packs into the included EVA protective carry case, so the booster and cables stay together and protected on the bike.
