Internally the Stormhawk boots feature dual D3O inserts to provide ankle coverage. Well the circumstances of this review suck but I got into a wreck where I was rear ended while stopped and ended up under a car, boots kept my feet and ankles safe from everything possible and showed only minor cosmetic damage. Great product, and the comfort leaves a little to be desired but safety is above comfort.

Stiff, but not overly stiff feel with a nice comfy insole and after wearing them for a week straight they feel like I’m wearing slippers.
Highly recommend these boots, think I’ll be buying another pair as I really like them!
Quality Boot. I love the Boa lace system. Time will tell how they repel water and hold hope in general. I gave them 3 stars because they run small. I typically wear a size 13 and these feel like a size or a size and a half small. The return policy is restrictive. I wont be walking much in these riding boots.
I have been wearing these boots since Icon came out with them. On my second pair and still use first pair for work. They are light and comfortable. I even wore them on a 13 mile mountain hike in N.H.. They are waterproof but I also treated them before use. Water down your leg into boot is going to happen no matter what boot if pant to boot isn't water tight.
