Works better now

Ordered this Titan Wheel Vise hoping it would just bolt directly onto a used Titan air table I recently purchased that came with the Titan Wheel Chock. But alas the holes wouldn’t line up. Not a big deal. Just drilled new holes. When I rode my Harley Ultra Limited into the Wheel Chock the entire table would scoot forward and it was very difficult to back the bike out due to its weight, and my Indian Roadmaster front fender would not clear the Chock. This new wheel VISE works SO much better. Cons are: #1 Made in China. #2 Although the base (crank side) of the VISE is square with the table, when I crank the VISE to the wheel it is out of square with the tire, tight against the upper front of the tire but angles away from the bottom rear of the tire. I corrected this by shimming the plate with washers to square up the bracket with the tire, so the pressure against the tire is even. I also had to shim the other (fixed) side to be perpendicular with the tire so the top and bottom of the bracket is 90 degrees to the table and tire. #3 The rubber screwed onto the inside of the vise. It doesn’t hold the bike upright as well as it does without it, too loose pulling the handlebars side to side, and the screws were pulling through leaving the rubber wrinkled so I just removed it. Works great now, holds the bike straight up and feels very solid and secure.
