Plug your Battery Tender charger into the SAE end and the male plug into the vehicle's 12V outlet to maintain the battery through the vehicle's wiring, handy when the battery is buried under panels or seats.

It is built with 16 gauge wire and has a 7.5 Amp inline fuse for protection. Battery Tender recommends it for chargers under 3 Amps. Note that some vehicles switch their 12V outlets off with the ignition, so check that your outlet stays powered with the key off before relying on it for maintenance charging.
