Installation of the vent tube was easy enough. There's something about the thread design that makes it VERY difficult to install and remove the dipstick. The last full turn to bottom it out is difficult by hand. I wanted to make sure the dipstick marks gave me the same reading as the stock dipstick so I needed to ensure it was tightened and bottomed out on the o-ring seal. To remove the dipstick I had to purchase a small strap wrench. It is not possible to remove by hand. The strap wrench will need to stay on the bike so that i can check the oil when traveling. I was forewarned by several reviews prior to purchase. Some people have been led to believe that it is the magnetized dipstick that causes the issue. I strongly disagree. It's incompatible thread materials and/or mis-matched thread specs. I'm not 100% satisfied.
