Jacket is sturdy high quality, I’m on a bike trip to Sturgis. It was triple digit heat in Texas when we departed. Surprisingly the jacket worked as advertised. Cruising at highway speeds you could feel the air circulating inside the jacket through the outer mesh plus all the protection gives you from road rash if that ever happened. Only negative is the fit. Recommended to order one size larger. I did , normally I wear a xl ordered 2xl. Fits me snug around shoulders and arm pits. I’m 6’-2” and weigh 214. Anybody that works out and are extremely fit would need 2 sizes over. Other than that issue Im satisfied.
Comfortable and keeps you suprisingly cool while moving. Cool enough that you will want a warm layer to wear under it if it temperture drops.
Was doint slow maneuvers on my harley in the mall parking lot. I made the mistake of not having enough throttle on for a second and fell over. The jacket doesn't have a scratch. My elbow on the other hand lost about a 2" circle of skin. Jacket didn't help at all.
I am one of those bikers that follow “Law Abiding Bikers “. I came upon his product review on this Alpine Jacket. As soon as I got it the first thing I loved about it was the fit!! I was a bit skeptical about it keeping me cool, but was so impressed by the amount of airflow through the jacket. I will say this, if you are in bumper to bumper traffic you will sweat on a hot day. However on a hot sunny day you will feel a lot of airflow in the jacket. I recommend this jacket for anyone looking for a good jacket.
