I bought two of these in chrome, one for my 2001 FHTR and one for my 2005 FLHTCUI Firefighter Edition. These linkages live in my Tour Paks as spares!

As I wrote before this is a great upgrade over stock shifting linkage ,only have 17,000 miles on my 2004 HD FATBOY ,which ii changed out camplate ,tensioners ,oil pump all Screaming Eagle and cams at 12,00 miles as a preventative ,the cheezy ends on stock linkage were already starting to stretch out holes securing the ball SO AGAIN THANK YOU FOR POINTING THIS POTENTIAL TRIP DISASTER

Ryan, Thanks for the advice on this much needed upgrade. I’m very impressed with the quality of design and finish. I hadn’t realized the amount of play there was in the stock shift linkage on my 2016 Street Glide until I made the swap. The effects were immediate. The feel is precise, well connected control. No more sloppy control that would cause me to miss gears and neutral is easier to find. Of all the upgrades I’ve made on my bikes, this one, simple inexpensive change was a great value.
