When a battery is actually dead, a 750mA maintainer can take days to bring it back. The Battery Tender Power Tender 4 Amp is the one to grab when you need a real charge. At 4 Amps it recovers a run-down battery more than three times faster than a 1.25 Amp unit, then switches to float mode and maintains it just like the smaller Battery Tenders do.
It handles both 6V and 12V systems with a manual voltage switch, and a chemistry selector gives you the correct charging profile for standard lead-acid, AGM and gel batteries or lithium (LiFePO4) batteries. That makes it one charger for the touring bike with a lithium battery, the pickup, the boat and the old 6-volt tractor.
Lithium mode is for 12V batteries only. Always set the voltage and chemistry before connecting.
