The Alpinestars Tech-Air® 5 Plasma Airbag System is the lightest Tech-Air system yet: a slim airbag you wear under your jacket that covers your chest, ribs, back and shoulders. Six sensors and an AI crash algorithm trigger the airbag in 25 to 50 milliseconds, cutting up to 95% of the impact energy to the covered areas, and a built-in Nucleon Plasma back protector adds passive protection. Street, Off-Road and Race modes let it work on the road, the trail or the track under any Tech-Air Ready Alpinestars jacket.
Note: Follow the Tech-Air 5 Plasma sizing chart under the fitment tab for the proper fit. Size it to your body, not your jacket, and wear it under a Tech-Air Ready jacket. Remove your jacket's back protector; the Tech-Air 5 Plasma has one built in.
