The Kraus EZ-Shift for H-D Twin Cams changes your shifter’s leverage ratio, so you can easily find Neutral—even at a dead stop.
This small but effective component makes a big difference in your riding experience. Offsetting the shift location changes the ratio to create just a little longer throw on your toe lever. This smooths out the gear change, resulting in an EZ shift.
It’s a must have if you ride in cities or traffic, your left hand and clutch will thank you. Holding that clutch lever in continues to drag the clutch creating heat in the primary and motor. Your bike will run cooler and your clutch and fluid will last longer if you pop it into neutral at the light and release the clutch.

Makes a HUGE difference in the ease of shifting up AND down through the gears, and makes finding Neutral at a stop (as when parking, not at a light) much easier! My 2014 Ultra Limited was sometimes very temperamental about Neutral, but the EZ-Shift seems to have soothed that neurosis.
At 72, my 2014 Tri Glide is my last bike. I have struggled with neutral for some time and started looking for a fix. When I had to actually ask a male Derby City HOGS group member to help me get the darn thing in neutral so I could use reverse, I was done! On a Tri Glide, if you can't find neutral you can't use reverse and it isn't easy to back it up, for this lady anyway! The EZ shift was a leg saver for me. I am glad I shop and look at this site often or I may not have found this! Thanks so much for reviewing everything you sell. I knew this was going to be awesome! It is really a game changer!

I was shock at how well the part worked. I understand how it works so I knew it would improve shifting but this was drastically better for my 1999 Road King Classic.
